Which quiz mode to pick

All five modes draw from the same question bank; what changes is the pressure, the length and how the questions are chosen. Picking the one that matches the time you actually have is more useful than picking the hardest one available.

Quick fire and timed

Quick fire is a short mixed set, which makes it the best diagnostic on the platform: because it crosses categories, the questions you get wrong point at gaps you had not thought to look for. Timed adds a clock and is the closest thing here to exam conditions. Use timed when you already know the material and want to practise recalling it fast, not while you are still learning it.

The daily challenge

One challenge per day, and the mode that keeps a streak alive. Its value is not the questions so much as the reason to open the app at all on a day you had not planned to practise, which over a few weeks adds up to far more than an occasional long session would.

Category practice and practice mode

Category practice narrows to a single topic and is what to use once a quick fire round has told you where the gap is. Practice mode drops the scoring entirely, so nothing counts towards points or accuracy: worth using when you are meeting something for the first time and want to think rather than perform.

What happens afterwards

Every completed attempt is saved and can be reopened later, question by question, to see what you chose and what the answer was. Reviewing the ones you got wrong a day or two afterwards is a better use of ten minutes than a fresh quiz, because by then you are recalling rather than remembering, which is the part that makes it stick.
