📚 Category Quiz Benefits

✓ Focused Learning

Master specific topics by practicing questions from one category at a time

✓ Track Progress

See your improvement in each category and identify areas for growth

✓ Build Confidence

Start with easier categories and work your way up to advanced topics

✓ Earn More Points

Category quizzes offer more points than quick quizzes (100-500 pts)

Practising one category at a time

Category practice narrows every question to a single topic, which makes it the mode to reach for once you know where your gap is. Each category has its own graded question set, so difficulty rises within the topic rather than jumping between unrelated ones.

Finding the right category

If you are not sure which one to choose, a quick fire round first will tell you: it mixes categories, so the questions you get wrong point at the topic worth booking time for. Guessing at your own weak spots is unreliable, because the areas that feel uncomfortable are often not the ones you actually lose marks on.

How far to take one topic

Scores inside a single category are directly comparable, so your quiz history is the honest signal here. A score moving up over several sessions means practice is still adding something; one bouncing around inside a narrow band usually means the topic has settled and your time is better spent elsewhere.

Pairing it with flashcards

Most category mistakes are not reasoning failures. They are a formula or a conversion that would not come to mind quickly enough. Flashcard decks cover that layer, and working a deck alongside a category tends to move the score faster than repeating quizzes in the same topic does.
