Play a Maths Quiz
How the quiz works
This is the screen where a quiz actually runs. It reads the mode and category you picked, draws a question set to match, and scores each answer as you submit it. Opening it directly, without choosing a mode first, leaves it with nothing to run, which is why it asks you to pick a mode.
The quiz modes
Quick fire gives you a short mixed set for a few spare minutes. Timed adds a clock, which is the closest thing here to exam conditions. Daily serves one challenge per day and is the mode that keeps a streak alive. Category practice narrows everything to a single topic, which is the one to use when you already know what you want to work on. Practice mode drops the scoring pressure entirely so you can take your time.
Scoring and feedback
Each question is marked as soon as you answer it, so you find out immediately rather than at the end. Correct answers add points, and those points feed your level and your overall accuracy. Nothing is deducted for a wrong answer: guessing costs you nothing but the chance to learn from the explanation, which is shown either way.
Reviewing afterwards
Every completed attempt is kept, so you can reopen it later and walk back through the questions one at a time to see what you chose and what the right answer was. Reviewing the questions you got wrong, a day or two after the attempt, is a far better use of ten minutes than starting a fresh quiz, because it targets the gaps you already know you have.
